R3 Program - Respectful | Responsible | Relational

VCA’s R3 program  creates a positive culture that emphasizes being Respectful, Responsible, and Relational. This program positively reinforces behavior in all grades, and also encourages discipleship by connecting older students with younger students. Each month our upper school students have an opportunity to meet with their R3 buddy promoting discipleship and leadership.  The R3 program is also a part of our school wide student expectations.  Each classroom no matter what grade has the same three student expectations: Be Respectful | Be Relational | Be Responsible.

Preschool and Lower School Chapel

Preschool and lower school chapel services include worship and a monthly character trait which is reinforced in the classroom. Chapels also include a time of recognizing students who have demonstrated the character trait as identified by their classroom teachers.

Middle and High School Chapel

The goal of chapel for upper school chapel is to transform the hearts and minds of students through praise and worship as they draw closer to Christ and grow deeper in His Word. VCA’s Praise Team provides students with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents, gifts, and abilities as worship leaders. Guest speakers are often brought in to share as well.
